Recently went to Europe and finally got to chill with one of my favorite illustrators Serge Seidlitz. He knew and spent a lot of time with my late father growing up as kid. He talked about how my dad was super supportive of his artistic endeavors which was exactly how he was with me. I felt like I was hanging out with a brother I never met. I’m glad my dad knew how important art was I can’t imagine my life without it. Took my mom till my 25th birthday to understand/apologize for not being supportive, it felt good. Anyway, he hooked me up with 2 fresh prints. They’re dope. I plan on returning the favor when we meet again. Follow him on twitter.
